Attn Potential Employers:

I am looking for a position part time, or full time in the Creative Graphic Arts/Printing/Advertising field. I have a creative mind, is detailed oriented and hard working with a design and production team.  I noticed you are looking for a candidate who has a strong sense of originality, while incorporating superb technical skills for software such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You are looking for a candidate who can provide consistent and quality results and I can provide that for you.

I have had a 40-hour paid internship at Mintz & Hoke Communications in Avon, CT, making a logo for the Department of Social Services, as well as designing a layout for a booklet for Human Service Providers. I also had the opportunity of gaining experience with a 2-month full time paid internship at the Institute for Sustainable Energy making large-scale banners, and desktop publishing. In addition to my experience, I have excellent knowledge in the use of Wacom drawing tablets for illustrations done for clients as a free lancing artist.

Furthermore, while attending Eastern Connecticut State University, I was in a design group, which we created large-scale works for the Superior Juvenile Court House in Windam County. I have two Associates degrees, and a Bachelor in Visual Arts with a minor in Printmaking and a concentration in Graphic Design.
I am highly enthusiastic about graphics and all that it encompasses. I would like to gain more experience in the creative field of design and illustration, working for your company.  I consider myself a team player in the work environment and would be ecstatic to be considered for this position.

Sincerely,

Sarah Reed
